contract manufacturer

We are a contract manufacturer

Carolina CoverTech is a specialty contract manufacturer based in North Augusta, South Carolina. We produce custom products that cover, protect, contain, and enclose—using RF welding, heat sealing, and industrial sewing—for industrial, military, medical, and commercial customers across the United States.

what we make

If your product is built from flexible materials and needs to seal, contain, protect, or enclose something, this is what we do. Carolina CoverTech manufactures to your exact specifications—from initial prototype through production runs—using three core processes:

RF welding and heat sealing. Airtight and watertight seals in PVC, TPU, polyurethane, and medical-grade films. Pouches, bladders, covers, liners, bags, inflatable structures, and sealed enclosures. Custom dies are fabricated in-house.

Industrial sewing. Heavy-duty sewn goods in ballistic nylon, Cordura, canvas, coated fabrics, and technical laminates. Load-bearing equipment, tactical gear, protective covers, equipment bags, and custom sewn assemblies. Full thread and hardware capabilities.

Rigid-to-flexible conversions. Converting rigid components into flexible alternatives to reduce weight, simplify shipping, and improve functionality. Common in HVAC, industrial equipment, and defense applications.

Industries We Serve

We manufacture for buyers who need a U.S.-based partner with proven capability in flexible material fabrication.

Military and defense. Tactical pouches, hydration bladders, load-bearing equipment, protective enclosures, and soft goods for DoD contractors and prime suppliers. All manufacturing is U.S.-based. We maintain full supply chain documentation for Berry Amendment-compliant

projects—if your contract requires it, we can support it.

Medical and healthcare. RF-welded fluid containment, IV bags, wound care pouches, and inflatable positioning devices that require airtight, sterile seals. Sewn soft goods, equipment covers, and pouches where material cleanliness and consistent construction are non-

negotiable industrial. Containment berms, custom bladders, protective covers, sealed enclosures, and sewn assemblies built for environments where a leak, pressure loss, or seam failure carries real consequences.

Commercial and consumer. Inflatable structures, waterproof gear, custom covers, and production-scale sewn products. If your product requires a strong, flexible bond and you are ready to move from prototype to volume, we are built for that.

Is Carolina CoverTech the Right Contract Manufacturer for Your Project?

Carolina CoverTech is a specialist, not a generalist. We do not manufacture plastic injection molded parts, metal components, electronics, or rigid goods. What we do, and what we have done for decades, is flexible material fabrication. If your product fits that description, you will be working with a team that has built thousands of products like it.

A good fit looks like this:

  • Your product is made from flexible materials—fabric, film, coated textiles, or laminates
  • You need airtight, watertight, or high-strength seams and bonds
  • You need U.S. manufacturing, Berry-compliant sourcing, or documented supply chains
  • You have a custom spec or need help developing one from a concept or sample
  • You need a manufacturer who can take you from prototype to production without a handoff

If that describes your project, the next step is a conversation.

Why Choose Carolina CoverTech?

  • Specialty depth, not generalist breadth. We have spent decades refining RF welding, heat sealing, and industrial sewing for demanding applications. When your product needs too perform in the field, you want a manufacturer who has built products like it before—not one learning on your run.

  • Prototype to production under one roof. Engineering, tooling, sampling, and production all happen at our North Augusta facility. No handoffs, no translation errors between a design shop and a factory floor.

  • In-house die fabrication. We build our own RF welding dies, which means faster prototype turnaround and tighter tolerances without waiting on outside vendors.

  • U.S. manufacturing with full documentation. Every product ships from South Carolina. For Berry-compliant projects, we maintain supply chain records throughout.

  • We tell you if we are not the right fit. If your project falls outside our capabilities, we will tell you in Discovery—before you invest time in a quote process that was never going to work.

How We Work

Step 1: Discovery—We identify and solve the right problem.

Before anything else, we need to understand what you are trying to build—the performance requirements, the materials, and the environment the product will live in. We will tell you honestly if Carolina CoverTech is the right manufacturer for your application and recommend the best process for your specific product.

Step 2: Prototype—You approve it before we scale. We build a proof of concept or working prototype so you can evaluate construction quality, seal integrity, dimensional fit, and material behavior before production begins. If something needs to change, this is the moment—not after a full run.

Step 3: Production—Your specs, our standards. Once the prototype is approved, we lock in the manufacturing process: tooling, materials, construction specifications, and quality checkpoints. Every production run goes through inspection before it ships.

Step 4: Delivery—Packed to your requirements. Your order ships palletized and packed to your specifications. If you have specific carrier requirements, labeling needs, or delivery window constraints, tell us upfront, and we will build that into the process from day one.
