Industries we serve
We produce sewn goods for buyers who need production-scale runs, exacting specs, and a manufacturer who understands what the product has to do in the field.
Military and defense. Load-bearing equipment, tactical pouches, gear bags, harness systems, and soft goods for DoD contractors and prime suppliers. All manufacturing is U.S.-based, and we maintain full supply chain documentation for Berry-compliant projects. If your contract
requires it, we can support it.
Automotive and transportation. Custom seat covers, protective wraps, equipment bags, and sewn assemblies for vehicles and transport applications. We work with coated fabrics, heavy vinyl, and laminated materials that hold up to daily use and harsh environments.
Medical and healthcare. Soft goods, pouches, equipment covers, and sewn enclosures where material cleanliness, consistent construction, and documentation matter. We understand that medical manufacturing has different standards, and we work to them.
Outdoor, tactical, and sporting goods. Packs, bags, holsters, cases, sheaths, and gear built for performance. We work with ballistic nylon, Cordura, webbing systems, and hardware assembly for products that take real abuse.
Industrial and safety equipment. Custom covers, protective sleeves, containment bags, and sewn assemblies for equipment, machinery, and hazardous environments. If the product needs to be tough, durable, and built to a spec, this is what we do every day.
why choose carolina covertech?
- Machine range that matches your product. Flatbed, cylinder arm, walking foot, chainstitch, lockstitch — we have the configurations to handle complex geometries, tight-radius work, and heavy multi-layer materials that standard shops turn away.
- Material depth. We work with the full range of industrial materials—ballistic nylon, Cordura, heavy canvas, coated fabrics, webbing, and technical laminates—and we know how each one behaves under a needle at production volume.
- U.S. manufacturing with full documentation. All production is completed at our facility in North Augusta, South Carolina. For Berry-compliant projects, we maintain supply chain documentation throughout.
- One partner from sample to production run. The team that sews your sample runs your production. No handoffs, no interpretation errors, no surprises on delivery.
how we work
We have built this process around one priority: getting your product right the first time and into production without delays.
Step 1: Discovery—We identify and solve the right problem.
Before anything else, we need to understand what you are trying to build, not just the dimensions, but how the product will be used, what it needs to withstand, and what construction method makes the most sense. Thread type, stitch configuration, seam construction, and material layering decisions made at this stage determine whether your product holds up in the field. We will tell you honestly if we see a better approach than the one you came in with.
Step 2: Sample—You approve the construction before we scale.
We sew a sample or proof of concept so you can evaluate stitch quality, seam strength, material behavior, and overall fit before production begins. If the construction needs to change—a different seam type, a heavier thread, a revised attachment point—this is the moment to make that call, not after a full run.
Step 3: Production—Your specs, our standards.
Once the sample is approved, we lock in the manufacturing process: machine configuration, material sourcing, stitch specifications, and
quality checkpoints. Every production run goes through inspection before it ships. You will know what to expect on delivery because we have already built it once and resolved any issues at the sample stage.
Step 4: Delivery—Packed to your requirements.
Your order ships palletized and packed to your specifications. If you have specific carrier requirements, labeling needs, or delivery window
constraints, tell us upfront, and we will build that into the process from day one.
