Job Opening: Seamstress
Summary: A successful Industrial Sewing Specialist candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines, stitching various materials, and ensuring that each finished product meets our quality standards.
Specific Job Duties:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various materials.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules to determine the type and quantity of materials required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot sewing machine issues.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Background Required:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines.
- Knowledge of different fabrics, stitches, and sewing techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for sewing machines.
