Carolina CoverTech
was
formed in the mid 1800's and began as a furniture store.
It developed later into a window treatment business. In
1925, Carolina CoverTech began manufacturing canvas
awnings and continues to do so today. The bulk of our
business is custom "fabric" products for a variety of
industries.
We work in vinyl, acrylic,
PVC and many other fabrics. Polyethylene film,
urethane film and PVC film are used. We produce
products with all types of webbing. Fasteners include
grommets, zippers, snaps, buckles and many others.
Machines used include:
single needle,
double needle, bar tackers, di-electric sealers, thermal
impulse sealers, hot air sealers, welding equipment,
binders and more. Processes include sewing,
heat-sealing, mechanical fastening, proprietary seaming,
hot melt adhesives die-cutting and more.
